Crăciunești (Hungarian: Nyárádkarácson; Hungarian pronunciation : ; קרעטשניף, Kretshnif) is a commune in Mureș County, Transylvania, Romania. It is composed of eight villages: Budiu Mic (Hagymásbodon), Ciba (Csiba), Cinta (Fintaháza), Cornești (Somosd), Crăciunești, Foi (Folyfalva), Nicolești (Káposztásszentmiklós) and Tirimioara (Kisteremi). Ciba, Foi and Nicolești were established in 2006.

Romania (România ) is a country located at the crossroads of Central, Eastern, and Southeastern Europe. Europe's second-longest river, the Danube, rises in Germany's Black Forest and flows southeasterly for 2857 km, before emptying into Romania's Danube Delta. The Carpathian Mountains cross Romania from the north to the southwest and include Moldoveanu Peak, at an altitude of 2544 m.
